Comparing the Premium SSL certificate, GeoTrust's prices are extremely high compared to GoDaddy's. GeoTrust will charge you $348.00 for a single domain for 2 years, compared to GoDaddy's low price of $75.00 a year for for two years , saving you $198.00 compared to GeoTrust.

With GeoTrust however, you do get a 30-day free trial and they will allow you to switch service from GoDaddy.com to GeoTrust as long as you have a valid certificate. They say they will replace it with the equivolent of what you have with GoDaddy, but the prices do not compare.
